With rumours swirling of Edin Džeko possibly heading to Manchester City, AC Milan or Chelsea, the Bosnia and Herzegovina international stated in a radio interview:

Edin Džeko honoured as best in the Bundesliga

As in the old adage “to the victor, goes the spoils”, Wolfsburg is continuing to the reap rewards after winning the Bundesliga title.
Edin Džeko was named Germany’s footballer of the year in the professionals poll, as reported by Football media giant Kicker with teammate Grafite finishing second.
