“Paris can prepare themselves for a difficult match”
By: j | February 26th, 2009Prior to Thursday evenings UEFA Cup match between Wolfsburg and PSG, Felix Magath said of his sides difficult task of overturning a two goal disadvantage:
“It’s certainly not an easy constellation but thanks to our strength at home, we are capable of beating any opponent.
“We will most definitely be giving our all and will battle from the first minute to the last. Paris can prepare themselves for a difficult match.”
After losing the opener in Paris 2-0, Wolfsburg will need to go on the attack early in Volkswagen Arena against a French side that will take a decidedly defensive stance. Wolfsburg will need to make the two goal margin but pay careful attention to giving up the all-important “away goal.”
Edin Džeko and Zvjezdan Misimović are producing at a extraordinary pace and will benefit from Claude Makélélé being out of the Parisians lineup. With the exception of Graifte and Ashkan Dejagah Wolfsburg is fully fit.
