Peter Pekarík formally introduced by Wolfsburg

As reported earlier, Wolfsburg has secured the services of Peter Pekarík from MŠK Žilina of Slovakia’s Corgoň Liga. The twenty-two year old Slovakian international will prove out to be a brilliant signing for Wolfsburg and at reported fee of €1.5m (per MŠK Žilina) quite the bargain. Wolfsburg coach Felix Magath said of his new right-back:
“Even though he is still young, Peter Pekarík has played plenty of league matches and has also appeared for his national team. He is a big talent, a player with potential. I am sure he will develop in the Bundesliga.”
